Default The final look - how long does it take?

Hi all,

I'm staying at around about the same weight since starting maintenance in August, however(!!!) weirdly I have continued to lose fullness on both face and body! I have been unwell but I'm thinking because the loss doesn't seem to be reflected on the scales that it might just be the skin tightening up....comments?? suggestions????

Clare

Hi Lovely. Well noticed no one has responded. Interestingly enough yesterday I was off to my hair dressers. She is young, slim trim and terrific. Now calling me skinny minny and ever so inquisitive about Cohens.

Anyhows, her comment to me was " I cant believe how good your skin is - like it has just snapped back into place" now I must admit - I dont quite see it like that so it was interesting hearing her perspective. I felt when I first completed refeed / plan I was somewhat gaunt and my skin stringy. It certainly is way better looking now and I am coming up three months complete. So I think your body simply sorts itself out and redefines over time. Least thats my take. Have a great weekend.... Narelle

I agree Narelle, you body has to get comfortable again - and your skin does change and shrink. My skin now looks kinda saggy, but I remember from the last 2 times that it was looking better and it would have been a few months after i finished refeed - I've done the program over winter 3 times, and I was looking ok in my (little!!) bathers in summer hee hee. but you won't ever end up with teen age skin again (well, I won't...)

That would be miracle no 2 for this program. (Miracle No 1 was the weight I actually lost - hoped it would happen but found it difficult to believe it COULD). Waiting with interest to see how the skin settles. At my age, wrinkles are considered SMILE lines anyway.
