Finally!!

Hi to all, I have been a watcher of this forum since I joined Cohen's in Sept last year. I did really well until Christmas and have been struggling along ever since. To date I have lost 28.3kg with still another 13.6kgs to go.

Decided it was time I became more accountable and hence I am now posting my first comment. Whilst I haven't had any major weight gains my progress is very slow!!

Just a little bit about me.... I am 47 years old with 2 grown up children who are living away from home, so its just hubby and me! I live in Southland, NZ and would love to know if there is anyone else lurking from these parts or Queenstown.

The journey I have been on has been amazing, I have grown so much in confidence and feel sad when I look back on all the years of being overweight and miserable about my body. So now its onwards and upwards, or should I say downwards!!

Anyway just wanted to say hi and also to thank you all, as reading your posts has been what has kept me going.

Looking forward to finishing this journey with hopefully your support and some new friendships along the way.

Hey Julie,

I lurked around here for a couple of years before I took the plunge and posted anything, so welcome to this part of cohen's.

It's great, people are friendly, supportive, motivating and inspiring on so many levels.

Reading diaries takes the level of support up another notch and makes you realise just how many people are facing the same things or round about in their lives that you are too.

Well done, it's a decision you won't regret!!! And welcome!!

Welcome! Once you start posting, you can't stop!! Seriously though, writing a diary, reading and posting on this forum is what has kept me going throughout this journey. You've done great so far. Keep going, you can do it!
