Hey saf, I've just finished for the second time, you're in a good place here.

Good luck, lots of us come back more than once and have great success with it. We each do it a bit differently and in our own way, some have clinic support with new program, I did, but others don't because their old program works well for them.

Yip I'm a second timer, well you could call me, a continuing member with my 2nd program.
I'm a regular forum user and get lots of support, which is really my only support from here.
Oh I do have a new consultant who is lovely with this 2nd program and let's say I'm human and have a few too many slip ups but all pretty good at the moment.

I'm a 2nd timer. I went through the losing and the refeed but didn't do any maintenance - so here I am again!

I am looking forward to completing and maintaining this time. Especially with the support and ideas that you get from this Forum.

Hey Saf I'm on second plan. First one was in chch nz but due to many reasons I never got to refeed or maintenance. Ended up gaining it all over time and moving to Brisbane. About to start week 10 of the second program and I'm down 10.7kg (as of this morning) in 9 weeks. A total of 14.9 since September as I did start out using my old plan, but it was slower!!

Love the forum for support and all these lovely ladies keep me on track!!

Heya Saf, Welcome to the forums!

I"m also a multi. On my second program right now. Was unsuccessful the first time around (solely on me) and didn't make it to refeed. Have had a few false starts since then, but am in the groove this time and positive I"ll be seeing it the whole way through!

Good luck to you on your journey, I"ll be following with interest

I decided to try my program for a month and if my losses weren't comparable I would get a new program. However I was losing the same, had no cravings or any other adverse events so I've continued with it.

Some people have tried their old program and found they were always hungry, deviating, feeling unwell, or lethargic, unable to get into the zone.... Then they went for new program's and had great success.

Each to their own

just noticed this post continuing,
Saf I did feel a new program was needed for me, I took the chance of getting a new one and more $ and my selection on the 2nd program is really large compared to the first, no change in cracker/fruit but less weights in Meal 3, more in Meal 2 and same in meal 1.
I'm really happy with my 2nd program but have just had a bit of a bumpy ride the last week, all sorted again now.

Thanks for sharing Toothfairy, is there a huge difference in the weights though? Or is it just 5-10 grams for either protein or veg?

Hi Saf I'm the same as TF... New program for me as I needed it. Losses were slower with first program and I was hungry. Plus I knew my chemical make up was different as last time I was taking anti depressant medications (which I stopped needing due to cohens!!)

My weights are very different. Not as simple as TFs changes per meal. Many of mine I'm allowed quite different amounts. Some I'm allowed more food, others I'm allowed less! It's working much better for me in terms of my losses!

Saf the weight changes are minimal but the food selection is better.

I'm just starting my 4th program. In 2005 I lost 20kg and maintained for about 3 months. I did my 2nd program in 2010 and lost 20kg again!! This I maintained (actually lost another 3kg) for about a year, I was very strict with myself and followed maintenance guidelines as strictly as I followed my program but unfortunately I got a bit complacent and started to put on weight again so end of 2011 I did my 3rd program and lost 7kg. I can't remember how long I maintained it for because all hell broke loose in my life and I turned to food for comfort. It's takes a lot of time, energy and concentration to maintain what we've learnt on Cohen's and I just didn't have any energy left to give my weight and eating the time it needed. I've been so disappointed in myself for putting all 20kg back on again. I really felt I was on the verge of total break through but unfortunately life got in the way a bit!! So here I am again with the same 20kg to lose again . I actually didn't want to contact Cohen's again and ask for another plan because I was so embarrassed to have to do it for a 4th time but they have been very helpful and assured me I'm not the only one . My consultant said weight loss and maintenance is a journey - so true . So ive just finished day four and have got the Cohen's "high" that I've come to know so well. Amazing that you can feel such a change in just 4 days )

Seems like we are on the same boat here. 2011 was great for me since I first lost the weight I struggled with all my life. Then 2012 rolled in and delivered a whammy in my personal life. Now I step on the scale and realize I have 11kg to lose. I've been struggling with getting back on the diet for the 2nd time, though. But I won't stop trying to get my head space right.
