Back for the second time
Hi everyone, well here we go again ... I first did Cohens 2 years ago, and lost 10kg (I needed to lose another 15 according to the Cohen Scale, but I find that rather unrealistic). However, was feeling pretty good with a 10kg loss. I'm not sure why I ended up stopping, but for whatever reason I did. And put on 14kg. So back to where I started from, and more So, Day 1. Had a stewed apple and yoghurt for breakfast, and feeling a bit peckish now, my day off today and heaps of housework beckons, so wish me luck keeping busy! Will check back in later. |

Re: Back for the second time
Thanks Nomoreexcuses! It's been a tough day today, feel like I'm famished! Made three lunches and tonight's dinner today so feeling organised for the next couple of days.
Kept busy which is the best thing. Things on tonight as well, so won't have time to think about it! I like the idea of feeling unstoppable! |

Re: Back for the second time
Here begins Day 2! Was pretty hungry yesterday, but I know that will pass.
I'm a bit of a chronic weigh-er, so hopped on the scales this morning, and crikey, 1kg down! Now that's an incentive! What do other's have for breakfast? I didn't feel very full yesterday after breakfast, today I had an egg on a cracker, spinach leaves, tomato and mushrooms. Felt very strange not having that with toast and hash browns! Still feeling peckish, and it's only 8.24am! |

Re: Back for the second time
You'll soon get use to the smaller portions and will feel satisfied, your bodies just use to a bit more and not recognising it's full probably. I cant do the eggs, so for me its either mushroom and tomoate with mozarella grilled or youghurt and fruit.
Try going without the scales, i was a chronic weight-er but havent while on this and its great just seeing the weight go in other ways and has now broken that cycle of having to get on every day. |

Re: Back for the second time
Hi Yamaha girl,
I used to weigh myself everyday, but found I was too emotional about the results. If there was a loss, I'd be stoked. If there wasn't, or it was less than I'd hoped for, I felt disappointed and was at risk of binging (it's not working, lets through it all it the window). I'm actually tempted not to even weigh in monthly, simply because for me, I want to focus on creating this lifestyle of fresh foods and conscious eating, rather than taking my worth from the numbers on the scales. I eat either an egg omelette with tomato, mushroom and baby spinach or cold boiled egg with a little mayo, salt and pepper mashed together, on crackers with cold tomato and cucumber. But I find if I drink a 600ml bottle of water either before or with my breakfast it gets me off to a good start, and I'm less hungry. I'm on my 13th day now. Good luck! |

Good luck YG
The first couple of days are always difficult but you'll soon get into the zone I usually have egg Crispbread and celery and cucumber in the morning and that fills me up quite well or I have an orange (or half to cheat myself into thinking I have more fruit ) with yogi. |

Re: Back for the second time
I used to make a zucchini fritter with my egg, grated zucchini a tiny bit of onion and a pinch of curry. It was pretty nice!
Water before breakfast does help.
