Haven't the foggiest idea about what you are talking about. Sounds weird. Research everything is all I can offer.

Oops my bad. Just researched your condition. My apologies for the insensitive comment. Understand that you are in a difficult health situation.
What does your physician say about this programme? If it will make some improvements then go for it. Otherwise, I recommend listening to the Doctors. Apologies for my flipeancy before. It's not my intention to be that way. Am insomniac and finding it hard to get sleep. Am a bit prickly. hugs Andie xoxo

Re: Low ferritin. Iron fusion.
Well my doctor thinks I have an eating disorder because I weigh lettuce, So his not much help. My ferritin level is 9. It should be somewhere between 165 to 200 Ish. why can't I just be lacking in fat, that would make life easier. Haha.

Re: Low ferritin. Iron fusion.
An Iron infusion should actually help you - and shouldn't interfere with the program - it doesn't have carbs, fat or calories...... I hear you on wishing it was fat you were low on - me too...lol
In fact it will make you feel amazing!!!! Diana x

Re: Low ferritin. Iron fusion.
I'm not too sure what Dr Cohen looks at in the blood tests but I would say it is most likely the insulin, serotonin and HGH levels as these are what we are trying to get into the correct balance through this program.
If you are not sure what effect the iron fusion will have on the results then you could perhaps speak to your consultant about it... but at the end of the day if it is needed for your health then that is what is most important! My sister has had numerous iron fusions and she is always much improved afterwards. Hope you start to feel better soon allie |
