Default Need help from anyone that is around 67 kilos and has 13 kilos to lose

Hi my name is anniem i received my programme 2 years ago i weighed 62.8 kilos and my goal weight was 55 kilos i lost 3 kilos and then gave up cause it took my 3 months to do that. It is now July 2007 i weighed myself the other day and i am now 67.2 kilos i have put on a further 5 kilos. My goal weight is 57 kilos. I would love someone that has the same amount to lose (13 kilos) to write and let me know how long this took you, did you notice results straight away or after how long? any other info you could tell me.

I also wanted to ask is it true if you had one coffee with milk in it would that ruin your whole week. I am not having tea or coffee because i dont like the taste of it without milk so would rather have none.

I would like to tell everyone else out there how much of an inspiration they are to have lost so much weight they are amazing and they help me to get through this. I am on day 5 of the programme again day 1 was the hardest after eating anything and everything but it was just a habit and habit can be broken. but you are all truly amazing and inspirational.

Thank you look forward to hearing from you

Anniem

Hi anniem,

my goal weight when i started the program was between 57 and 60kg. I started at 78kg.

I lost it all in about 18 weeks including refeed...It should have been quicker but I did have a few deviations along the way.

You need to make a comittment to yourself to do it, and finish it.

I knew for a month before I started that I was going to do it, so I worked my mind up for a month to get into it.

You will do it, but only if you want to do it.

Hi Jo

Thank you for that i was just wondering cause if there is not as much to lose well 13 kg is a lot to me i thought maybe it would be harder for me to lose or slower. Have you kept it off i am glad you got into it and lost it all i am on day 10 today and i am doing really well have not weighed myself yet. Just sick of people saying you should not drink diet drinks you should not do this or that but i will just ignore them all and keep going.

Have a great day

Default Just some questions for anyone that can help

[color=black]Hi everyone,

Well i am so excited i just got my ticker to work that is so exciting. Now i just hope the weight part goes down down down.

I am 67.2 kilos well was on the 23rd of July 2007 which was day 1 of my program. Today is 3 weeks and 3 days into it. I have not weighed myself yet i will on the 4th week. I can see slight changes to my body though.

When i read through everyone's amazing stories i am just amazed and stunned at how well everyone has done it is fantastic to see how much weight everyone has lost, and it does help reading everyone's stories that everyone is going through the same thing and has alot of similar fears and questions.

My main question is that i have around 11-12 kilos to lose and starting this programe at 67 kg do you think that this will work just as quickly for me as someone starting in heavier. I am so worried because like others i have tried jsut about everything to make it work and nothing has i have ended up heavier than i have ever been.

If any one knows the answer to this could you please help me. I have been doing so well. I am too scared to weigh myself in case there is not much change in weight. Does anyone know if this is possiblle.

Thanks guys

Anniem

Hi Anniem,

Yes I'm one of the ones who has tried lots of programs and like you always ended up heavier than when I started.

In answer to your question, if you follow the program 100% and Dr Cohen has devised the program to suit you, there is absolutely no reason why it wont work. I heard though that there is a small minority that this doesn't work for but if you're already seeing results and your weigh in is at the end of the week only time will tell how your going and by the sound of it you're going well. Just relax and see for yourself when the time comes.

I'll be watching for your results come weigh in day.

All the best
Melissa

Hi Melissa,

Thank you for your encouragement makes me feel better. This is the second time round that i am doing this. I got the programme 2 years ago i got down to 60 kilos from 63 it was taking a really long time and for some reason i just kept getting colds and really sick so i had to stop.

Now it is 2 years later i have put on a further 7 kilos from the 60kilos, this time however, i have not been sick at all which is great, i did not even get headaches in the first week, but i did have a huge one on Sunday and Monday don't know if i just got it later than meant to.

I am really trying and really determined to do this. This is the 3rd week and i am used to it only thing is it feels like a lot longer. But I will keep going and hopefully i get the results.

I am doing my own weigh in, trouble is i was staying at my parents place when i did the first weigh in and now i am back home. We both have digital scales but i will not be at their place first thing in the morning as i start work so early so i will have to do the 2nd weigh in on mine. If they are different i will be in trouble.

I start work at 4 in the morning so i wait and eat until 6 am sometimes i think my metabolism is all mucked up because i do not get enough sleep. I only usually get around 4 -5 hours i just cant sleep. But any way onwards and upwards i go.

I'll let you know how i go.

Have a great day

Anniem

Hi,

Can I suggest if you are going to your parents before weigh in day take your scales and test them. Maybe mum could weight herself on both to see if there is a difference then you will know.

Hi Anniem,

How's it going? You sound a little like me - we want it (the fat) all to be gone YESTERDAY! This is definitely the most rapid and sure fire way to lose weight. You just have to break it down and take one meal, one day at a time. I have done plenty of other diets as well and did manage to lose quite a bit of weight last year. I have however put on 10 kilos and I am so disappointed in myself. So, I dusted myself off, and jumped on the Cohen's bandwagon. i have been lurking around this forum for a little while and I think we have stumbled across something pretty special.

From what I can gather it pays to be 100% and most importantly get yourself through re-feed. I believe this is the main reason most people keep the weight off - their body has metabolised.

I only have 15kg to lose and I am hoping that 12 weeks should see me done. I intend to take no longer - so I must stick to 100%. I am only on day four - but heck, if I can do four days I can do 140! And with the support you receive on the forum we really have no excuse. We are not doing this alone - there are people here who REALLY do know how it feels. Take some comfort in that.

Looking at your ticker - you've only 11 kg to go! Very cool! It should take you no time at all - I'd be saying around 8 weeks - what's that in the scheme of things??? NOTHING! So, lets get into it 100% and beat this baby!!!

Good luck - keep going.
Twiggy.

Hi Twiggy,

Yes it is great being able to read and write to each other it has helped me heaps. I want to keep jumping on the internet just to see what any one has written which is pretty sad of me really.

Yes i only have 11 kg to lose and this is week 3, i have not weighed myself yet but i see few changes in the mirror but nothing drastic that is what worries me. I hear every one say they lost so much in 4 weeks but what if that does not happen cause i am in week 3 and so far that is not what is happening.

But yes we can stick to this and build our confidence sky high. I really want my confidence back that is what this is about for me. I was with someone for 8 years and although i was only 55 kg then he used to call me fat and alot of other things and well i ended up putting on all this weight i think it was from so much stress and being upset. But it worked cause even though i know the things he said was not true, it still got into my head and now i do not know how to get it out. But, losing this 10kg would be a good start for me just to walk around and feel good without having to hide. It would be so nice.

Have a great day

Anniem

Go easy on yourself girl! You only have 11kg to lose - what if it comes off slowly for the first couple of weeks as your body readjusts to upping the HGH and serotonin and lowering insulin and then - you drop kilos fast? Does it matter which weeks the kilos actually come off, as long as they do? Give it all youve got and as others have said - you will be there in the body as you are already in your mind! Pandora

Hi AnnieM,

Thanks for sharing the following:-

Hmm - let me be frank. I think you have given someone else TOO MUCH POWER over your good self. I (obviously) don't know this person, but they were once important in your life. But, from your comments, it seems they were on some kind of power trip.

Since you say "I was with someone", I assume they are now "past tense" - yes?? So, put them (and any hurtful comments) out of your mind.

I used to tell my sons, "Don't listen to knockers. They are not intelligent - all they do is open their mouths and say the first thing they think of, and it is usually putting someone else down - no intelligence required, or displayed".

So, AnnieM (daughter ) may I say "Don't listen to knockers (past, or present)". Particularly as they are now out of your life. Be the person YOU want to be, and be the SUCCESS you want to be. Don't give this past loser any more thought. Carve yourself a NEW life with someone who DESERVES you (the renewed, slim, you),

K (Dad )

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

i second all that eveyone has said
and remember that this is also a mental transformation not just a physical one.
once you realise how strong you are, you'll also realise the endless possibilties that lie infront of you.
whether the weight comes off quickly or a little slower than you hoped.... it's still coming off a lot faster than what it would have if you were on another diet.. so take the time to pamper yourself and enjoy this the journey that will make you a stronger and more beautiful person inside out (mentally and physically)

good luck

Thank you k and Evave,

That is very good advice, he is in the past i left hin nearly 4 years ago and i am very glad now that i did i know the things he said were not true but it still goes into your head and somewhere deep down it effects you. But i am a good person and a very strong person and i will be okay. I have a beautiful boy friend now that would never put me down or hurt me like that. He is very caring and nice. We still have few problems cause he has been married and he has two girls (young) which we have every second week end which is fine and we get along great but cause he talks to her a fair bit cause of the girls it really gets to me cause they are still friends. But any way some how i will get myself together and be okay.

I recently did a reiki course and would like to do that after hours to get some extra money and also cause i really love it and it does really help to relax you.

This weight loss cause i have been trying for so long will just complete me at the moment.

And i know i have stressed about it too much but just cause i reallywant it to work. But i will stop and just let things happen.

Thanks guys

Anniem

PS:he is still a loser as i hear and still doing the same thing to the next person he was with.
