replying to Private Messages (PM's) - EVERYONE PLEASE READ THIS...

Just a little note to everyone...

If you have "Email notification" turned on, please PLEASE don't just hit the 'reply' button in email and "reply by email"...

The email notifications are sent by the admin email of the forum (blindly through the forum system, I never see these), so, if you hit 'reply', your reply comes to me, and I get not only your email, but the original message the person sent you!!! And I gotta tellya, I don't really want to read your personal messages... They look just like an email to admin, so I get half way through before I realise they're a PM (although a couple of them have been quite illuminating...)

Please also go and double check your email as listed on the forum. If it's written incorrectly your email notification bounces, again, BACK TO ME... More illuminating stuff...

So, it would be great if you could please reply to PM's via the PM system (go into your messages, get to the message you want to reply to and hit 'reply'), that way you can talk about me all you like and I'll never know! :P (well, until someone hits 'reply' on their email notification...)

Well it's been over 3 months since this was "bumped" (add another ~300 new members ) so thought it was time to bring it to the fore again.
