I need help 2 post b&a photos.

Hi All,
I have been trying all week 2 post my before n half way shots, but i keep getting a message saying my file is to lrg, so i went into the forum n found a web called shrink pics. Still nothing.
I was looking forward to posting -- NOT my before but i went to a wedding on the weekend n i was overjoyed with going from a size 22 dress to a 14.. Is there anyone who can suggest something? Oh n by the way i am just learning how to use a computer ,I know pretty late of me. So sorry if i sound dumb...

Hey Shaz,

ok, if you open your pic in paint, go to Images then Attributes. It will come up with a little box called Attributes. If you change the width and height a bit (only do a little bit at a time to make sure it's not too much of a change. Then you will need to save the file again. You can check the size by going to Windows Explorer. I can't remember how small they have to be on here but you can just keep doing that til you get them down to the right size...

if it's too hard let me know lol I'll see if I can find an easier way...

of course if anyone else has anything to add...

if you have any more probs your best bet is to email them to Asy, of course PM her first and ask ,but that is what i would do ( says me who wont put hers on here) but go with the other advice from Nelle first. jacin :P

Thanx,I tried the pic in paint n had it down to 20-20 n it still said my file was to lrg. So i will now try Asy n see how i go.

Girls - here is the link to the free software to use to shrink your pics to the right size for the forum upload limits.

For those that do not have a program to resize your photos to upload to the forum. Here is a link to a small download that is a free program to make photos or pictures smaller - it is easy to use. Set it on Medium compression and it will be below the size as recommended by Baloo -This will reduce your picture size and it will upload.

Extremely useful little program. I've been using it for about 4 years now. Also use Adobe Elements and and old installation of MS Photoeditor (installed from old MSOffice 97 and works a treat in Office XP Professional
