Default Bruni's recipes

Hi all

As it's been raining and getting chilly - I have just made the best
lunch at work..had to have something warm..unfortunately I've had
to nuke it as well..surprised how tasty it was.

Chicken allowance
vege allowance of: silverbeet, tomato, mushroom
garlic and onion, chilli and a squeeze of lemon juice
salt & pepper..

slice the chicken..steam (nuke) - then set aside..put all
the veg together, lemon juice etc..nuke for 2 minutes
give it a little toss and there you have it..yummy..very
filling..

Talking prawn, bok choy..chilli for lunch (or dinner)

As the days are getting a little cooler - I find that I want something warm..more so than a salad..(creatures of habit)..so at work I only have a microwave..

Your allowance of the following:-
prawns/bok choy/yellow squash/ginger/corriander/garlic/chilli/onion
and a dash of balsimic & lemon juice - no need for water as it steams
in own juices...pepper

Lay the bok choy down..then the veg & prawn..etc in a safe dish - 2 minutes (depending on microwave) and enjoy

chookers

Talking

Made this last night as it was cold and I wanted something different..

Chicken and asparagus soup

Your allocated allowance of:-

: organic chicken breast (whole)
: 1.5 cups of water
: asparagus, garlic, onion, tarragon, bay leaf
: teaspoon of mustard

poach the chicken, garlic, onions & herbs until tender - remove
the chicken and shred it - put half of the asparagus into the pot
and puree - put the remainder in with the chicken in a bowl and pour
over the soup..yummy and very filling
