Default Reecy's Refeed

YAY!

ive finally made it to refeed!.

over the past week i have been getting hungrier and hungrier so i decided to start refeed.

today was my first day and it went well, dinner filled me up and so did the extra fruit i had in the arfternoon, i really get hungry when i get home from work so the fruit was great.

im allowed bread tomorrow but i think i will wait till the weekend in case i have some ill effects from it!

tomorrow is extra crispbread and bread which i will substitute with more crispbread! the same veg and protien allowance.

have a great night everyone.

Reecy

Hi Reecy

Congratulations! How long is your refeed? I'll be in refeed land on Monday so it will be nice to have some company.

Reecy, wow. Congrats on getting to refeed. You have done really well.

Enjoy the bread...... I just 'smell' it at the moment, in fact everything that I am not allowed and that other people have... I just ask to smell. Okay, now I am starting to think I am a little weird

have a good weekend, NBS xx

I missed your move to refeed, Reecy. Congratulations on making it over here.

I made my bread, no additives, and have had no ill effects from it, even with three slices a day. I'm experimenting with milk, trying to work out if the effects I've had after a cup of coffee are the milk or the senna I took in the morning.

Default refeed day 5

hey everyone,

sorry havent posted for a few days been super busy!

im down 300gms on refeed starting weight.

refeed is going good, the food is filling me up. im on day 5 and yesterday i had 1 slice of bread, it wasnt that great could take it or leave it! no ill side effects which was good. i wasnt sure what bread to get so i went to bakers delight and got their wholemeal bread which has no preservatives. i had it for lunch with chicken rissoles and salad!

i get to have another extra good fruit today so im not sure when i will have that! i had rockmelon for the first time yesterday, it was nice to have something different!

went and saw strassman last night and he was fantastic i highly recommend going to anyone. i laughed the whole time. and i got a Ted E Bear which is so cute!

better get going i will try to post again tomorrow

Reecy

I've lost only 300 gms on refeed, Reecy, but I've stayed within 200 gms of that weight for ten days now. Amazing. I'm eating three pieces of bread a day, like you can take it or leave it (and butter was a disappointment) but no ill effects at all.

Hey Reecy, sorry I haven't been by in a while. You're powering along! Gotta admit refeed sounds a bit daunting. I'm kinda liking it in my little Cohens cocoon at the moment. Have you had other new foods yet?

Hi Reecy

You sound as though you're going really well. I'm on Day 4 of refeed today and still hungry. I'm looking forward to more food, not worried at all about not being able to fit it in at this stage, bring it on I say!

Funny how it goes, but I'd only today replied elsewhere saying that "some DO lose after Day 10" - and here you are (another one to add to the list ).

You are sounding like it is going well for you too. Woohoo - well done,

Hi Reecy

Good going girl! I finally dropped some weight in refeed, first time and on Day 7. it was the extra sleep that did it. I'm starting to feel satisfied with the amount of food I'm eating, no problem fitting it in as yet though!

I lost very little in refeed, Reecy. Lucky you for being able to do so.

Watching weight during refeed is an interesting process, Reecy. If you have another appointment with your consultant, ask her about the loss and regain.

hey guys,

this is my last day on refeed and by sure it has been a rollercoaster, ive been down in weight last weekend then rose back up to 400g over my refeed starting weight, then this morning back down to 100g below starting weight!

im not sure if im ready or should i say want to stop the program, its like my security blanket. im use to these foods and i think i will stay eating them, because i enjoy them so much, well i enjoy the old protien and veg, i struggled with eating the new stuff because i just dont like them.

i hope everyone has a wonderful day.

reecy

Hi Reecy

Congratulations. Two Cohens graduates today that's fabulous. Looks like I'll be all alone in here for a little while.

Have a ball in maintenance, I can relate to wanting to stay with the safe foods, I'm just looking forward to not having to weigh everything!
