STARTING WEIGHT 75.9KG

Increase old protein & vege
1 new good fruit

So I have decided to add pineapple as my new fruit. Everyone seems to go that option and I just love fresh pineapple!!!

I'm not sure the amounts will get rid of my hunger today but at least in my head I know I have more gradual increases over the next couple of days and tomorrow I get to add 1 slice of bread.

Have a great day everyone

Welcome to the land of REFEED, Jenny!
The increases are small to start with but when you get to have that bread, it is most satisfying! Enjoy it!!

Default Day 2 of 16

STARTING WEIGHT 75.9KG
TODAYS WEIGHT 75.7KG
DIFFERENCE -200G

Same increase in old protein & vege
Same new good fruit
Add 1 Slice bread

Morning all, Thanks for all the messages of support. I am very excited to be going through refeed. Especially with a 200g loss. I normally don't shift much after a late dinner and not much sleep on Thursday nights. I was still hungry yesterday but hopefully that will slowly go away to feeling pleasantly full!!!!

Today I am adding my bread and have gone with a organic wholemeal slice. I don't plan on eating much bread at all in maintenance and if I do it will be wholemeal etc. I have got my husband having his sandwiches for lunch on wholemeal now so I don't see any reason to bring white bread in the house!!!!

Have a great day everyone

Yay for a drop already!!

Hope the bread is good to you! I know I've been enjoying it and tend to have at least 2 slices a day as my lunch time sandwich at work! It's very filling and satisfying!

Hope the head work is still going great! It's going to be an ongoing process!!

Keep up the great work!

Vee

Hey, Jenny!

Here you are!!!!!
I have to admit, I haven't been checking your diary often, but I will make it up next week, when I will have more time to read diaries.
You lost a lot of weight, wow!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Welcome to the Refeed land!!!!!
I think because you are also on the upper range of goal weight, you will keep losing on refeed, at least in the first half of the refeed.

I know, first few days you might get hungrier - because it's not so much added food, and some of the carbs trigger hunger, but it will get better.
As new, sweeter fruit come, try to have it with the protein meals (less as a snack) and later in the day.

You will enjoy the refeed, it is fun!!!!!

Oh, God, I can't wait to read your diary, you have been on this diet for a long time now... It will be very interesting to see how your body will react on different foods now.

Again - welcome and thank you for stopping in my diary.

Default Day 3 of 16

STARTING WEIGHT 75.9KG
TODAYS WEIGHT 74.6KG
DIFFERENCE FROM YESTERDAY 1.1KG
OVERALL 1.3KG

More increase in old protein & vege
Same 1 good fruit
1 slice bread

HOLY MOLY....A 1.1KG drop overnight and I had bread yesterday
I am so happy I started refeed it was obviously what my body needed....if only you could see the smile on my face right about now

Up early today have a 7am start at work...being self employed you do these things. Well had my piece of bread yesterday and so far no bad reaction with my body or the scales. Decided to have my cheese option and made a cheese & tomato 1/2 sandwich and ate the rest of cheese with salad. I used a smear of mayo on the bread yummy!!!!!

Busy day at work today so I will have to catch up with everyone this arvo. Have a great Saturday everyone, I definately will you will see my smile a mile away!!!!!

Hi Jenny,

Hehe - I can see it from HERE (and I'm in Sydney )

Wow, talk about "right thing to do" in starting refeed.... Several others have found the same - the varying paths are fascinating to me.

I think I first heard Shell (who was already maintaining, months ago) comment that she needed to eat MORE to lose more - she'd been trying back "on plan" as a Maintenance reset.

Since then, there have been several who found "they just needed to refeed" even ahead of goal, more food hits, and DOWN the weight goes....

Fascinating - and that tells me that everybody is an individual. It also tells me that 1 + 1 is not always equal to 2 (can be 11 )

Keep that wide smile, Jenny - I suspect it might become quite a habit by the time refeed is over (what a good habit to have )

Hugs,

Koh

Default Well Done.........

Hi Jenny,

This is my first post but I have been watching your progress. I am so very proud of you, you are going so well. 1.1 overnight - amazing..

I am one of Jenny's other Aunties (and Rosemary's sister - but not the one she recently stayed with and lost 2.1kg in 9 days while there- how was that - fantastic!!).

Thanks to all of you who have and are supporting Jenny on her journey - I'm sure some of her success is attributed to your support and advice.

Jenny, congrats on getting back into basketball - You will really love it.

Isn't Rosemary doing well - over 10 kg already - I'm proud of her too. I recently lost 12 kg but it took me 8 months (obviously it wasn't on Cohens)

Keep up the good work.

Hi Jenny,
Firstly I want to admit that it has somehow taken me 5 weeks to read your diary. I had no idea what I was missing. Your journey has been incredible - From someone who knows how hard it is a lot of the time (I guess all of us here know how difficult it is at times), it's hard not to get a bit emotional when I look at how far you have come. I'm not sure if thin = happy, but for you, I really hope it's as close as it gets. You deserve every happiness. Thank you for the inspiration, and for reaffirming for me that I'm on the right path.

Kate
