TOILET TRAINING IDEAS Pleaseee

hi i am at my wits end with my 2.5 yr old girl, when she gets on the toilet or the potty she will only do a wee or a poo if she is screaming her head off almost hysterical and then we may get a result (and i say may very lightly.)

i have tried giving chocolate, hugs and kisses, stickers,toys and god knows what else with no luck.
any one with some advice please answer

Hey Jacin,
I had a bit of luck with bribes of a toy they REALLY want, or I made up a liitle story that the poos like to go to "PooLand" via the toilet. That's where they live & because they're unhappy being trapped inside they give you tummy pains. They want to splash in the water & swim to "PooLand"
I know it sounds bizarre, but it has worked for my kids & also another Mum tried it with success also!
Anyway, it's worth a try huh?

Ok, I know this is probably a really dumb question, but, she hasn't got a urinary tract infection by any chance has she?

If she has, then urinating will be excruciating and she won't know what's causing the pain. Urinating into a nappy won't be as painful as it's "warm" and there's no air contact which is where a lot of the stinging is.

If there's truly nothing wrong medically, then pooland it is!
