Default Finishing meals

Hi, How's everybody going after Easter. I'm really happy to say I didn't have one single discrepancy!!!
Came away with one question though. I have been finding it hard to finish all of my meals. Lunch will be ok but dinner, I'll not feel hungry enough to finish all my veggies.
How important is it to finish everything on the plate?

Hiya Mouse,

It is so so so important to eat everything as that is how your plan has been designed. If you don't eat it, you honestly won't lose weight.

Can I suggest swapping your meals over to leaving meal 1 until the end of the day. I do that now to 'confuse' my body as it helps with the weight loss. I have been told to try not to have cheese at the end of the day though so most of the time I have a poached egg on salada, with a side of grilled asparagus and swiss brown mushrooms - yumm scrumm!!! I also add a piece of fruit to that and that is sufficient for dinner.

Also, by having meal 2 and 3 for breakfast and lunch seems to stop any additional hunger throughout the day.

Hope that helps, Tanya.

Yes, you need to finish all. You can however, forgo the fruits if need be and after the first 10 days, you can eliminate the crispbreads if you desire. I, like you, was always full from the day I started the diet. The vegetable/protein ratios are extremely important. Matter of fact they are the key to the high rate of loss without feeling the hunger as the ratios are what keep your serotonin fooled into not feeling the hunger you would otherwise feel. Don't even think of not eating your veggies!

Thanks for asking this question - I was wondering this myself today when I was trying to force my yoghurt down!

Default just my 2 cents

i find when i get like this it is best to eat the heavier vegies like cucumber, tomato and capsicum and leave the leafy vegetables alone.

I found a good way of getting around it was with stuff like AJ's chicken nuggets! With meals like that, you don't even notice you're eating veggies!

Hi Mouse

Try this link:

That should take you to AJ's chicken nugget recipe. Took them to a Leonard Cohen concert - delicious!

Also, if you are not feeling particularly hungry, try to cook stuff that "cooks down to nothing" like spinach, or mushrooms, etc.

Like if it's a meal 2, take your mozarella, throw it into a hot frypan with a spritz of oil (or if it's non-stick, you don't even need the oil, there's enough in the mozz), then microwave the spinach and mushrooms for a minute, till they're sorta wilted, and by then your mozz should be bubbling. Don't have the frypan too hot!. Throw the veg into the middle of the mozz, and fold the cheese over the veg.

IT's a sorta veg/cheese enchilada thing. They're amazing.

You'll be running to your programme to make sure they're legal!
