Default Back after my baby

I am not new to Cohen’s, last year I fell pregnant whilst on Cohens (it was good as I was trying for 12 months to fall pregnant prior to that).

I have been breastfeeding my daughter for the past 10 months so couldn’t start Cohens earlier. I managed to get up to 106.6kg during pregnancy. I have got down to 90kgs post baby and feel so desperate to get at least 20kgs off. I have my daughter’s baptism and birthday doming up in October and feel really motivated to get down as low as possible. I fear that I will not build up this motivation again so I have to take advantage of it.

I went shopping yesterday nothing fits and looks good at 90kgs. Here goes another try, I know this program works like magic when you stick to it.

Back in my earlier days of Cohens people like AJ and Hexi and Faithy were doing the program its good to see they are still around.

Hi Karol
gettting the motivation and sticking to it can be really tough, but it sounds like you are determined to achieve your weight goal and ive only been on this site since yesterday but have alreaady found it so helpful and encouraging to get and stay on track. Knowing i am not alone in doing this and that at any moment help is just a post away is a huge confidence boost for me, i know it will be for you too. We are all in this together.

Hi Karol,

Welcome back... As you said, this works.... Sounds like you may not have reached refeed last time (based on this comment from you):-

If that's right, then now is the time eh? Get it all off, then refeed to make it stick....

Congrats on bringing a new life into the world too

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

I started off last week with a slow start, ie larger portions to get me back into routine this week I am going to focus on getting back to weighed portions.

Koh that is correct I didn't get to refeed, but I did get fast weight loss which proves to me that it works. I lost 14kgs on the program first time around.

I remember I used to be on the forum alot which kept me inline even in times of temptation.

Its great the forum is really well structured.

Hi Karol,

Welcome back. I look forward to hearing your stories. I am hoping to fall pregnant soon and will stop/pause the program if it happens. As it might take some time and I thought it would be great to lose some weight first. Just wish I found out about the Cohens programme sooner!

Best of luck,

Kat

Kat, it will happen when its meant to happen. If you fall pregnant during the program you will have the program to turn to at the end of your pregnancy. I finished breastfeeding two months earlier than originally planned due to my desperation to lose weight. I didn't lose all my weight breastfeeding like a lot of people.
