Default Sleep issues

Hi All.

My partner and I have both recently started the program and both of us are taking ages to get to sleep. We go to bed about 10-10.30 and just lie there for 1 to 2 hours before we nod off. That combined with waking early to go to the toilet means we're only getting 5-6 hours sleep a night. Aside form being tired, I'm worried that this will impact on our wieght-loss given how important good sleep is for HGH production.

Have others experienced this? I'm hoping it's just a period of adjustment to the program and we'll be sleeping better soon. ??

I slept extremely well when I first started the program. Maybe different bodies react differently to the program. Have you tried talking to your consultants?

I started going to bed earlier since joining the program, one reason was to not be near the kitchen and any temptations and I slept like a baby since. I had the first bad night 2 evenings ago, but last night was good again. I actually took ages to fall asleep before I started Cohens even though I went to be late and exhausted.

HI Benm

Oh lucky you! Think of all the loving time you will have. Nothing like a bedtime passion session to induce great sleep.

Always worthwhile to see the gift in a situation...lol.

HI Benm....

Just a few things to consider. How many caffinated drinks are you consuming? (Green tea has caffeine too) and when is the last caff drink you usually have?

Also perhaps slow your drinking wll before bedtime if you need to get up to go to the loo.

I ahven't experienced this particular problem myself. I find myself very sleepy at night....PLease let us know how you go

Good idea- definitely check the caffeine intake. It is possible that we all react differently, but I have been sleeping so well ever since starting the programme. Can't seem to stay awake past 10 pm.

Also are you stressed about something else? Because I know that can delay sleep as well, whatever else is going on with your body.
