Smile Blood test results

Wondering if anyone is getting deviations on their blood tests, even though they have not deviated? My last 3 tests have come back with deviations and l have been following the program 100% or so l thought. I know that silica can give this result but the vitamins l take do not contain it. My consultant is not concerned as l am still loosing weight. I'm not worried about it, just curious as to why?
Cheers,
Janine

Hey Janine - i asked my consultant the same question and she confirmed it does happen - she said that hers used to show deviations all the time and she never had - so I wouldn't sweat it.

have your routine blood tests sent to your personal doctor- that way if there are any concerns he/she will be on top of it
cheers

I was wondering which part of the data will show that the diet-er has deviations? I haven't heard from the clinic yet after going for my second blood test almost a week ago. I am also wondering if everything is OK.

if everything is okay you will probably not hear anything
have the blood tests copied to your gp ( the path lab will do this) if there are any concerns your gp will be able to advise you
and read the sticky on blood tests

I once put down that a copy be sent to me but it didn't happen. My clinic has never told me what the tests tell them. I guess we all aim to be 100% deviation free but it is quite easy to slip up without even noticing. I have been on it since August and only a month ago realised that the yogurt I was having had thickner in it. AND I thought I was being so very careful to purhcase 98% fat free Greek yogurt. I guess that is why they tell us to keep re-reading our guideline booklet every week so it gets firmly in our minds. I did that for the first 8 weeks and "thought" I had everything down pat. Mind you, I have still done alright but think often as to whether I would have reached my goal sooner IF I had picked up on this long ago!!
I wouldn't lose too much sleep over the blood test. If you are losing..........who cares..............you WILL get to your goal if you keep on keeping on!

I think they use the blood test to work out your refeed, the most important thing is just to make sure you have them done

Because the clinic owners and consultants are not pathologists or in any way educated in reading blood tests, the results will just be forwarded to Dr. Cohen. He will notify the clinic immediately if anything is amiss, but most of the time they will just be advised whether there are indications of deviations.

If you request it, the blood test results can be forwarded to your GP.

Callian, has your consultant gone through a deviation checklist with you?

We have discussed what l eat/drink and she cannot see any reason for the deviations. I accept the fact that l have to be different, not that unusually for me as it seems to be how my life has always been. Just makes it interesting at times.
