Hi all,
Well I go in to get my programme on Monday night. I am already riding the wave of emotions as I flick from a discussion with my father about my weight (which i started)but I know he does not approve of being overweight!
On the other hand I have the most delightful husband who when I asked him if he loved me even though I am so overweight I recieved a resounding YES.
He never pressures me about my weight at all. Funny though as I think the way we are brought up so affects the way we feel about ourselves. My husband pointed out that the way I feel about myself is a direct correllatiobn to what I feel my father believes. It doesn't matter what my husband says or thinks. I had never seen it that clearly before...
But my motivation has to be my health and that is going to be what I focus on front and center.
My husband is so supportive and I have asked him to come with me to get my plan so he understands it all too.
Sorry just musing my emotional journey here...

Well done Shuki - you are about to start on a great adventure once you get your programme! Good idea to get your husband to understand the program - mine does and is able to whip up a stir fry beef and vegies (all properly weighed and the allowed vegies) when required!
I have same kind of husband as you - has always loved me (for 28 years!!) no matter what weight I've been (and the difference in weight from highest to lowest has been as much as 30 kg!!) This is a good person to have around you as then you can concentrate on the fact that you need/want to be doing Cohen's because it matters to YOU and not anyone else.
Probably won't comment on your relationship with your Dad - that is a very personal matter. Only to revert back to my comment above and to realise that relationships that have been with us all our lives can be very complicated. The results you will achieve with Cohens will speak for themselves.
