When I have egg (on the weekends) I have about 1/3rd of the veg allowance finely sliced (tomato, onion and cabbage) and have it with the egg in an omlette, and the rest (just cabbage) in a slightly flavoured broth.. It really fills me up and is good for winter

if i have time i have deviled eggs.

boiled egg cut in half, remove the yolks and mash it with pepper, salt and mayonnaise then put it back in the boiled egg whites, swirl a bit so it will look like a restaurant side dish haha.

taste good with any raw crunchy cold veggies like celery, cucumber and bell peppers.

Thanks for this hint - I was so totally over eggs, but my weightless was slowing down chronically, so I've ditched the yoghurt and tried your mashed egg on celery - delish! Wala, a new egg idea (for me anyway). Thx

Hi
I used to grate my zucchini (allowance) and then whisk the egg add some salt, mix all together and cook in a little non stick frypan with some spray oil. Delicious and Kept me going!

I've tried this recently too - had it probably four times in the last 10 days. Sometimes I crush a salada and add it to the mix too.

I am brand new to Cohens (about to start it) and was wondering about the egg. There are some fabulous ideas in this thread which I have saved for use once I start (next week).

I usually scramble my egg with a little curry powder and mix xgrams of tomato, onion or green pepper. Serve that on 2 crackers - delish.

My fav though is melted cheese and chilli, with tomato and onions - I only have that one day a week as a "treat" breakfast.

Hi Karen and welcome the the most wonderful journey of your life! Egg is such a verstile ingredient so be sure to check out the recipe threats for some great ideas. Just be careful with your curry powder. There is a whole thread dedicated to curry power and the hidden pit falls. So make sure that you have the right curry powder with no maize and the other funny ingredients!

Wow another SA person on the forum, hellooo LouBean
